Level 1 Wheel Pottery Course for Beginners Course Overview: This 6-week course is tailored for individuals new to pottery, aiming to provide a comprehensive introduction to wheel pottery. Participants will engage in 12 sessions over the duration, with an additional glaze application session scheduled 15 days after the last making session. Schedule: Duration: 6 Weeks (12+1 sessions) Frequency: 2 days per week Session Duration: 2.5 hours per session (including setup and cleanup) Course Outcome: Learn wedging, centering, pulling, and trimming. Ability to create a cylinder with up to 500g clay. Attach handles to formed pieces Post-Sessions: Glaze Application (1 Session) Objective: Understand and apply glaze to created pieces. Session scheduled 15 days post the last making session, based on availability Firing/Glazing: Each student will have the opportunity to fire/glaze up to 4 pieces in total, firing additional pieces is chargeable INR 300/- per piece Inclusions: Raw Materials: 10kg clay, tools, underglaze colors, stationery essentials Workshop Essentials: Apron for use during classes Firing Services: Charges for firing up to 4 items Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and munchies during sessions Course Fee INR 12,500/-
